Eisai Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tokyo, President: Haruo Naito) announced the April 20th launch of MENTEC
HERB for alleviating fatigue and headache associated with irritation.
MENTEC HERB, a new tablet-type product of the MENTEC family, comes in a bright green package that recalls images of mildly healing herbs. This product, which contains the same five kinds of herbal medications as in the already launched MENTEC Tablets and MENTEC Granules, effectively relieves such symptoms as fatigue and dull headache that often accompanies irritation. The packaging is designed to specifically highlight the product's indication with bolded type and a brief, clear description of the ingredients to help users easily and adequately understand the product's outline.
Considering today stressful social environment, the number of people who frequently feel irritation and tension arising from everyday stress is increasing. A survey conducted by Eisai shows the findings that 30-50% of women in their thirties to fifties often experience stress-induced symptoms of malaise.
The launch of MENTEC HERB is intended to contribute to improving quality of life of patients suffering from such symptoms and to provide relief for wider range of people.
